The orchestra was founded on the initiative of established musicians of the Marche region, following the path left by the Orchestra Sinfonica delle Marche, whose background includes over 400 concerts and numerous recordings.
The new ensemble is formed of a group of 15 musicians who are also permanently collaborating in smaller chamber groups such as trios quartets etc.
For symphonic repertoire productions the orchestra expands to a larger ensemble of up to 28 string players and includes some of the best wind players in Italy, all of whom are principal players in their respective orchestras.
Over the years the Orchestra has worked with conductors and soloists of international calibre such as Nicola H. Samale, Massimo de Bernart, Federico Mondelci, Francesco Manara, Maxance Larrieu, Simonide Barconi, Luisa Grandina, Luciano di Giandomenico). The orchestra has been given the priviledgie of playing “first night” concerts of works by Raffaele Bellafronte, Nicola H. Samale and Roberto Mulinelli and has also been invited to perform in many Festivals, including the Symphonic Season in the teatro Gentile di Fabriano, the Sagra Malatestiana in Rimini, the Todi Festival and the Festival “Persiana” in Tortona.
The Orchestra is cooperating with the Concert Agency of Pesaro and last year in occasion of the Olimpic Games it has been invited in Greece to give concerts in thecities of Prevenza and Athens for the Olimpic Games celebrations.
